My mom offered to take Derek and me out for lunch the other day, and it was between the burger place where she and I went last week and a Thai place… We definitely decided on Satay Thai restaurant and headed out.
We got Thai iced tea to start, and I ordered pad Thai with chicken. We caught up and shared spring rolls and travel stories.
My mom and Derek haven’t seen each other in a few years, so it was a very cute reunion.
PLUS I’ve had the luxury of eating leftover Pad Thai for two meals now!
