Hi everyone!

What’s more classic than a cherry red nail polish? Cherry red lipstick? I’ve got a good one for you today. Today I have a great red polish from one of my favorite brands.

I lost all my notes for this polish, which SUCKS. But I’ve used this one so many times, that I’ve basically memorized the ins and outs of its formula. This is one of five polishes I have from Morgan Taylor, and that’s one of my all time favorite brands. There’s also like…. no info for this polish online so if you’re debating grabbing this one at Ulta, here’s what you need to know!

Formula:

This polish was almost a one coat wonder. I could tell it would look better with two. The first coat dried very fast, and when I went in with the second, it was beautiful. It dries shiny and it’s a VERY smooth application. This polish always surprises me with how great it is.

Color:

So, as you can see, this is a luridly bright red. I would say it’s a true cherry red, without blue or orange undertones. It reminds me of classic reds like OPI Big Apple Red. It looks better on the nails than it does in the bottle. The color in the bottle against the gray MT cap looks a little lackluster compared with how it goes on.

Other notes:

If you know someone who is just getting into nail polish, this would be a great practice color. It is easy to apply and looks great, and it’s hard to make mistakes with this one. It didn’t stain the nails or cuticles, and it looks good in two very light coats.
