RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 PARTY!

Hey everyone!

There are some things that feel so essential to my identity that it’s funny to have to explain them to anyone. I care about healthy eating and don’t eat certain ingredients or fast food. I’ve been in a relationship with my partner Scott since I was 20. I am a writer and have dreams of seeing my books in airports and bookstores and going on book tours. Now that my life is more open and I meet new people daily, it’s funny that these are things people have no clue about when they look at me. For all anyone knows about me, I’m a single math major who got Taco Bell for lunch!

Another essential thing about me is that I’m obsessed with RuPaul. I love RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ru’s podcast What’s the Tee, his perspective on life, and I basically exclusively listen to Ru’s music. So you can imagine my joy when I met a girl at work who also shares a love of RuPaul’s music and now-practically-mainstream reality TV show!

This past week, that same girl threw a RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 viewing party at her new place. At first I was a little worried since the party was a day after the show aired, and 24 hours is a long time to stay off social media and away from spoilers! But watching the show with a group was great, and the party was a good ol’ time.

We played drag lingo bingo, drank Topo Chico, and ate cupcakes from a friend’s vegan bakery!

We watched episode 2, which heavily featured Todrick Hall. He didn’t even have choreography prepared for Thorgy Thor, who seemed edited to go home this episode. I’m a big follower of the Drag Race subreddit, and they all called shade on Thorgy’s elimination.

The things posted in the subreddit this week were hilarious! I loved this one, since it did seem like Todrick was losing his damn mind over Kennedy not picking up the choreo right away.

There’s a fresh episode TONIGHT, and I’m pretty sure it’s the Snatch Game. If you haven’t seen RuPaul’s Drag Race, I would recommend buying season 9 episode 1 and giving it a shot. It’s just my favorite thing ever!
