I love having curly hair.
But as of a week ago, I could only curl it with a straightener. And that is very bad for my hair- my FHI flat iron gets reaaally hot.
I’ve had my eye on the Remington Pearl Curling Wand for a while now. This is how it looks (it comes with this glove so you can wrap your hair around the wand and not burn yourself):
When I saw the curling wand at Ulta for $30, I was like enough is enough- time to step up my hair game! Using the curling wand was amazing, although it was a lot of work to do the back of my hair and the right side. I decided a middle part would work best for this look, even though I can’t even remember the last time I parted my hair down the middle. That night, I had dinner plans with my great friend Rose and my partner Scott, so I decided to really take my time on my hair and make up. I don’t know about you, but I just love taking my time with my look for certain nights.
Here is my whole look for the night. It was a nice 75 degree evening that turned into sudden torrential downpouring- and we were eating outside!
Later on, after brushing my hair out, the curls fell in a really pretty way. I am absolutely hooked on this curling iron!
I’ve been taking really good care of my hair lately- my whole routine has changed. It’s really soft and healthy, and growing like crazy. I’ll post my new routine this week.
I would definitely recommend this curling wand!! You can’t beat that price. What do you guys think?

It looks really neat! When I curl my hair, I use a curling iron, too. I’m pretty clumsy when I want to curl it with my straightener.. 😀
