Chicken Tahini Stir-fry

Over the summer, I had a random idea one morning while cooking for my client Rose. I had bought some tahini and some Bragg’s amino acids, but didn’t really know what to do with either. I came up with this recipe, totally my own creation, that everyone said was crazy. Scott barely wanted to try it, and he’ll eat anything! Rose was hesitant.

But now, it’s one of our favorites.

TAHINI CHICKEN STIR FRY

You will need…

About a half pound of chicken

Paprika, garlic powder, pepper

Tablespoon of sesame seeds

1/2 C Ground Tahini

Bag of Broccoli Slaw

3 T Bragg’s Amino Acids

Bag of instant Brown Rice

FIRST…

Cut up the chicken to the size you like, and toss it in a bowl with about 2 tablespoons of tahini, sesame seeds, and spices. Heat up olive oil in a nonstick pan, and place the chicken in. Cook the chicken until it’s done- nice and juicy.

THEN…

Cook the broccoli slaw in a pan with water, until it’s cooked. I like it soft, but Rose prefers everything al dente. If you overcook it, it will get mushy. When you start cooking it, add the 1/2 of tahini, the amino acids, and more sesame seeds.

LAST…

Add the chicken plus its oil to the pan of slaw. Stir it all together really well. Microwave your brown rice and add it as well. This stir fry is creamy, a little salty, and succulent. But best of all, it’s healthy and super satisfying.

I’m going to contribute this meal to Thanksgiving, where each of my friends and I cook our best dish.

Make it and tell me what you think!
