OOTD: Daisy Mania

There are a few things that I am obsessed with when it comes to clothes, and anything with daisies on it falls into that category.

The other night, Tom, Scott and I were at Buffalo Exchange in the UT part of Austin, and I saw this black top with white daisies, and freaked out. I knew that I would try and find a way to make it work, no matter what. This idea of “OK, I love it on the rack and I will have it” is generally a TERRIBLE way to shop, since it leads to pieces like my birthday dress when I was 19, which barely zipped, gapped at at the chest, and didn’t allow for a bra (but it was white eyelet!). I LOVED it, but it was really a dumb buy.

Luckily, the top fit perfect, with a mock-turtleneck collar and a slightly cropped fit, which I knew would go perfectly with my black H&M skirt. I bought the top for $15 and wore it the very next day. Scott and I even caught the tail end of the perfect 5 o’ clock light that I love so much, and got these photographs to document one of my all time favorite outfits.

What prints or designs bring you to your shopping knees? I know I’m a sucker for anything in a perfectly pastel pink or blue, or white lace dresses. Tell me, so I don’t feel so crazy about this habit!

Have a great week,
