Fall to do list!

Now that it is already October, I really need to get a jump on all the things I need to do to make the most out of this spooky autumn season!

It was much easier to accomplish fall things last year when we lived in Utah, because the weather was more fall-y, and the fall activities abounded, and we were out there in Salt Lake with our friends who had a 2 year old and they weren’t going to miss a single fall thing. Scott and I alone wouldn’t do half the things we were prompted to do because they wanted to experience this stuff with their toddler, and I’m grateful for that! We apple picked, went to fall festivals, had Hocus Pocus viewing parties, and I attribute 100% of that to my pal Harmony. Left to my own devices, I might not have had the most picture perfect autumn in Salt Lake City last year. It will be hard to come close to those fall vibes here in 101 degree Austin, but I will try.

I wish we were going to New York to visit our friends and see the leaves change, so I’m putting that on here, in case I have a moment of forgetting what bills are and spontaneously book a very expensive and useless last minute trip to Long Island!

-Trip to the east coast to see the leaves change and eat fall treats with our favorite people (not happening but I will leave it up in the spirit of manifestation). How GOOD would it be to go to Uncle Guiseppe’s Market and get pumpkin cannolis and vodka sauce pizza slices and hang out with my friends? UGH. I wish!!

-Trip to Houston to visit the aforementioned fall queen Harmony and fam! I just know she has decorated her new house soooo cute for fall.

-Find apple cider donuts somewhere!!

-Decorate our apartment for fall- it can’t just be Orange Amps as the only orange items in here… I need a pumpkin

-Cook butternut squash macaroni and cheese

-Take cute fall outfit pictures outside somewhere, maybe in a pumpkin patch or something cute

-Take a trip to Bentonville, Arkansas to ride and enjoy their season changing (we did that the last few Octobers for Outerbike fest and it was always really cute). They also have really cute chocolate donuts with bat sprinkles for sale in the fall time and great fall weather!! UGH sign me up!!

-Attend a Halloween party with a good attitude and a costume (personal challenge for me, I don’t like dressing up. At least I am better about it than my husband, who has left getting a costume for Halloween parties until the last HOUR every single year since we met 🥲)

-Fall themed Pilates class- I have faith in my pilates studio that this will happen lol

-Wear really vampy lipstick and nail polish

-Go to La Patisserie for a pumpkin Eclair

-Watch a spooky movie!! Nothing actually scary cause I don’t like horror but something with the right October vibes.

-Go smell fall candles at Bath and Body Works!!

That’s all I can think of for now. I wish more was coming to me, but my city (Austin) and I are in a fight and I am too annoyed to think of everything it may have to offer this fall.

Loooooove,

Taylor
