NAIL POLISH HAUL!!

Hey everyone! The other day I posted about the OPI nail polish haul at Sally’s, and over the weekend I had a little fun and bought some nail polishes. It’s haul time! I got 7 new polish bottles in total, plus 3 bottles of Seche Vite quick dry topcoat (bought on Amazon Smile for just $9, which is the cost for ONE at Sally’s or Ulta!!), and a new bottle of OPI Nail Envy  (also for $9 instead of Ulta’s $17!). I purchased two OPI colors, one Sinful Colors, one China Glaze, and three Essie colors.

The nail polish haul!

I didn’t end up buying any of these from Sally’s after all- I grabbed them from Ulta and my grocery store. The display was a lot better, in my opinion. The Sally Beauty OPI display felt picked over, which was understandable given the buy 2 get 1 free sale going on. Ulta also had a great new Essie display, including some on sale!

The China Glaze polish is “Rose Among The Thorns”, which is a deep, hot pink. It dries matte. The Sinful Colors polish is “Snow Me White.” I love this white even more than OPI’s Alpine Snow!!

The Essie colors I grabbed were “Hip-Anema” (a name I do not get, btw- left above), which is a GREAT tomato red with a fab formula. I’ll be doing a whole swatch post about this one later this week, cause it is AWESOME. It reminds me of my all time favorite polish, Fashion A Bow by OPI. So, more to come for sure!! The middle green is “Going Guru”, which I’m sure you can tell from the pic is an awesome mossy spring green. The blue is my favorite Essie color of all time, “Bikini So Teeny”. This is actually my third bottle of Bikini So Teeny!! I would most recommend this one out of all the ones that I bought.

The OPI colors are “Malaga Wine” and one I must assume is a Christmas color, named “I Carol About You.” I’ve been wanting to grab Malaga Wine for a long time, and I’ll do a whole post about it later this week. It’s amazing on the nails- like a chocolate covered cherry. “I Carol About You” is a great purple. I have a dark purple Orly that’s similar but it dried up, so I’m happy to have a replacement.

I’m still on the hunt for a powdery lavender color, like a purple version of Bikini So Teeny. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Have a great week,

-Taylor

  1. That China Glaze color is definitely calling my name, but I always find that China Glaze chips way too quickly on my nails! I will definitely be on the lookout for a similar color!

    • I actually agree about China Glaze and was disappointed in this one even though the color is awesome. I’m going to try a different base coat before giving up though 🙂 let me know if you find a dupe!!

      • Terrible to hear I’m not the only one who has problems with China Glaze, but I will definitely keep you posted because that color would be so perfect for the summer!
