I started this blog in 2013 as an outlet for my makeup obsession in college.

✿ Where are you from?
I’m a Jersey girl. I was born and raised outside of New York City in northern New Jersey– the land of the best pizza, bagels, and shopping! I moved to Hawaii during high school and loved life on the island of Oahu. Now I live in Austin, Texas! Austin has changed a ton since I moved here, and I am working to fall back in love with this city. I briefly moved to Salt Lake City last fall for 6 months. We were there for the snowiest winter they’d had in years and decided to move back to Austin in the spring. The mountains in Utah are out of this world but SLC was not for me.
✿ Are you married?
Yes! I have been with my husband Scott since 2010. He always says that he knew I was his wife on our very first date. He’s from Long Island, which has the second best pizza, bagels, and accents after New Jersey, so we really get each other on a deep level 😜🍕. Scott is a Mountain Biker that already somehow had a documentary made about him, a 7-string guitarist, all around brilliant person… and he’s my best friend!
✿What are some of your favorite things?
I love cooking Italian food! I like to start with some garlic and shallots and see where I go from there. I LOOOOOVE all things girly- makeup, nail polish, perfume. I love fall- pumpkin EVERYTHING always! Let’s light some candles and eat some apple cider donuts and wear cute sweaters!! I love traveling and really miss living in the American west, just for how easy it was to load up the Subaru and drive to California or Oregon at a moment’s notice. I love talking about gender, society, culture, and sociology. I also love video games, drawing, beading, filming and editing videos, and lip gloss ♥

I am a male but I’m obsessed with all things nailpolish- finger nails, toes, and polish itself. Looking at your hands it looks like you have natural nails, not the extensions..
