Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days! I have a couple amazing nail polishes I want to review (including a really great cinnamon red for fall), but I’ve had the flu for over a week now! When I was in Michigan, my aunt kept telling me to get the flu shot ASAP. Then once I got back to Austin, I forgot… and now I regret it. This year’s strain of influenza sucks! Every day is like an adventure in being sick, with all new symptoms. At one point, I was so achey that my bed sheets were hurting my skin!

There’s a lot to look forward to now that it’s fall and 2017 is slowly starting to wind down. I will be back to regular posting on here soon, and hopefully on social media, too! I’ve been totally neglecting Instagram. In fact, I’ve been kind of annoyed with Instagram since their algorithm changed. Certain photography styles are favored, and photos with natural lighting help you hit the popular page (or explore page or whatever), but otherwise the formula is hard to figure out. And don’t get me started on my feed, where I see every single photo some people post, sometimes including posts from WEEKS ago, and yet I have to seek out other accounts I’m interested in! I’ve noticed if I’m Facebook friends with someone, I see all their shit 100% of the time, and if it’s some ex-Viner whose posts I want to catch up on, I have to type them in every time. So annoying. Especially if I’m liking every post I see (common IG courtesy!), it’s so awkward when I scroll down and realize this was posted 10 days ago or something. I promise I’m not lurking on your feed that hard, girl from high school. It’s just Instagram’s algorithm!
